5月のクッキングイベント

5月のクッキングイベントのミッションが無事完了しました。

先週末、マリンと数名の参加者と共にクッキングイベントを楽しみました。

英語とラオス/タイ/ベトナム料理に興味がある人達が参加されました。

イベントは14:00な始まり18:00頃に終わりました。

参加者はラオスのコーヒーを試飲し、ベトナムの春巻きやタイのカボチャのカスタードを実際作ってみました。

マリンは日本語を少ししか話せないので調理指導は実習の前に英語で行われました。

英語力は人によって様々でしたがホワイトボードに書かれたレシピを皆さんは理解していたようでした。

参加者は英語を学びながら、自分でベトナムの春巻きとカボチャのカスタードを作るのを楽しみました。

May’s Cooking Event. Mission Completed !!! Last weekend, Marine and few participants together enjoyed cooking event at the English Salon Osaka.

Participants are those who are interested in English, Cooking activities, Lao/Thai/Vietnamese Cuisine.

The event started at 14:00 and ended around 18:00

Participants had the opportunity to try Lao Coffee, make Vietnamese Spring Roll and Thai Pumpkin Custard.

Since Marine can speak Japanese a little, the instruction was made in English prior to the actual cooking practices.

Despite different level of English proficiency, it seems that everyone mutually understand the instruction gave by Marine on the whiteboard.

Participants enjoyed making their own Vietnamese spring rolls and Thai pumpkin custard whilst learning English at the same time.
